Disc Golf Pro Tour Undergoes Ownership, Management Changes

The Disc Golf Pro Tour was purchased by a new ownership group, the Tour announced this morning in a press release. The majority owner is now Nantucket Disc Golf founder Todd Rainwater, and he has hired Green Mountain Championship and 2018 PDGA Professional Disc Golf World Championships Tournament Director Jeff Spring to be the circuit's new CEO and Tour Director.

Spring assumes those roles immediately. Outgoing Tour Director and DGPT founder Steve Dodge will still run this weekend's MVP Open at Maple Hill.
