RFP for PDGA New Member Minis

Background

The Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA) is a 501(c4) nonprofit membership organization and the international governing body for the sport of disc golf. With over 32,000 active members in 46 countries, the PDGA is the largest organization for disc golf in the world.

Description

The PDGA sends each new member of the association a mini-marker disc as part of the new PDGA membership package. To get competitive pricing and provide an equal opportunity for all vendors in the flying disc industry to introduce their product to PDGA members, the PDGA is seeking bids for the provision of 12,000 PDGA new member mini-marker discs.

Requirements

The PDGA new member mini shall be a high-quality mini-marker disc, and meet PDGA technical standards; full color or metal mini-marker discs are welcomed. The mini-marker golf disc shall represent the PDGA, and creative digital design is encouraged. The deadline for receipt of the first batch of 2,000 mini-marker discs is November 18th, 2016, with the delivery of the remaining order in batches to follow as soon as possible.

Bid Deadline and Process

Bids should be submitted in electronic form to v[email protected]. The email subject line must include “PDGA New Member Mini Bid.” The bid should include the type and specifications of the mini, the cost per mini, the total price for the full order of 12,000 minis, and estimated shipping costs to Alpharetta, GA. Artwork sample is required.

The deadline for the submission of bids is Monday, October 17th, 2016. In addition to supporting the PDGA and its mission of promoting the sustainable growth of disc golf, the PDGA hopes that you will recognize the marketing and promotional value of having a mini-marker disc made by your company sent to every new PDGA member and that you will quote your bid price accordingly.
