Rothstein Joins Discgolfer Magazine Staff as Contributing Editor

Discgolfer Magazine is pleased to announce the hiring of Matthew Rothstein, PDGA #51515, as contributing editor.

Rothstein comes to the Discgolfer staff after several years in the disc golf media sphere and boasts a resume that includes contributions to Rattling Chains, DiscStore.com, and Ultiworld Disc Golf. Rothstein is currently serving as the director of Discmania’s Game of Throws league event and will join Discgolfer starting with the Fall issue.

“It’s a great time to be joining the team at DiscGolfer Magazine,” Rothstein said. “The sport is growing by leaps and bounds with big stars, marquee events, and a thriving grassroots network of players with a deep love for the game. I’m excited to work with Editor Joe Feidt and all of the talented contributors at DiscGolfer to bring you the most important stories and images from every corner of the disc golf world.”

Feidt said Rothstein will be the main content producer for the Fall issue and will focus on an upcoming feature interview and player-based infographics.

"I'm very pleased to have Matthew join the DiscGolfer staff,” Feidt said. “He'll be interviewing, writing articles, and working with freelance writers. Matthew brings a fresh perspective and new energy to our team.”

Rothstein resides in Fort Collins, Colorado, and is working toward his M.A. in philosophy at Colorado State University.
