Great old historic course. Stay in the fairway! A lot of positive maintenance done recently by the city, and PDGA rated rounds happening on Saturdays. A nice community.

This is a challenging course to say the least. I love that this course is tucked into Berkeley but the challenges outweigh he convenience.
-There were often water hazards on both sides of the fairway (the bay to the West, pockets of marshes to the East).
-There are several times when the flight path conflicts with the walking path. Other times people were sitting in the Park right between the tee pad and the basket.
-Tee pad signage was either vandalized or missing, so navigating the course was a real challenge for a first go.

Needless to say I’d recommend other better maintained, equally challenging courses in the area before returning here.

A long skinny park that is nine holes out and nine back so it tends to play fairly repetitive, hyzer-hyzer-hyzer out then anhyzer-anhyzer-anhyzer back. Winds make for unpredictable disc behavior on holes that force you out over water so be prepared to lose a disc or two.

This is a long and narrow course. Water does come into play and the winds off the bay can make this course a S.O.B. This course has teeth and it will bite ya! But still a fun course with some super challanging holes. Local knowledge would be a major help for first time players.

I liked the course a lot but it was kind of hard to navigate. Lots of wind off the water. Watch out for pedestrians and there are kind of some seedy characters so keep your wits about you. That being said there are some really fun holes. A couple low ceilings and you have to through over some water but the pins are reachable so that makes the water holes fun! Only played it one time but maybe with a few more rounds I might give it a 4.

Very challenging course that people LOVE to HATE. Two holes you have to throw over water or you are looking at least a 4 to go around avoiding the water. Good variety of shots needed. Lots of hidden water(creeks) on the front and back 9. Numerous pin positions make the course always changing. Cement tees on all holes, not many tee signs though(vandalizing). We have a weekly league in the winter on Sat. 10:30a.m. to 11a.m. Summertime we move it to Wed., 4:45 to 5:30 tee off. We leave maps in the box at tee one but they are taken fairly quickly. Can be calm to blistering wind which makes the corse at least 5-10 strokes harder.
Sontag, RIley, Kremmel, Welty, Fiedler, D'agostino, etc....thank you for teaching us the way of the disc, we've been lucky to learn from the best in the EBDGC.

Visited course as a tourist, nice park by the bay. Course is in dire need of maintenance. There are no course maps or signs on launch pads (sign posts are there but maps have fallen off or faded away). Wish I had someone who was familiar with the course, I feel that would have been provided a better experience.
