Description

Beautiful city park course on very flat ground by the Pearl River. Hardly any woods or underbrush, unless you throw over the bordering park fence. A walking path and park roads make for challenging OB that often comes into play, and big trees add interest. 3 tees on nearly every hole (Rec, Am, Pro). A good variety of lengths (from 210' - 516').

Directions

From the east; Hwy 84 towards Monticello, turning left onto Hwy 184 at Monticello sign. Park is 2 miles down on the left. From the west, take Hwy 84 towards Monticello, taking a right onto Old HWY 27 towards town. Take a left onto W. Broad St. and continue through town until crossing the Pearl River. Park entrance is just past the river about 1000' on the right. The park is an hour's drive from Hattiesburg. Follow park road towards the back of the park, staying to the left when you see the big pavilion in the back corner. Follow the gravel road around past #10 basket (on your left) and park to the right near the 1st tee which is near the bathroom and plays toward big open area away from the tennis courts. This 1st basket is hidden just behind a really big oak tree.
