Description

At the site of the first copper mine in Globe, AZ. The reclamation of the mine allowed a historic mining park to be built on site with mining artifacts, educational signage, hiking trails, picnic tables, the disc golf course, and more. Desert terrain, long pants suggested and bring water. Dogs must be leashed.

Directions

From Phoenix; east on Hwy 60 into Globe. From Tucson, go north on Hwy 77, then west on 70 which will become Hwy 60 into Globe. At De Marco's Italian Restaurant (1103 N. Broad St, AKA Highway 60), turn onto Murphy St. Cross RR tracks to the park entrance on the left.
