I went in the middle of the week after torrential rains and had to throw away my mud caked shoes afterwards. But other than that this Course is just EXCELLENT. Great signage. Fair but very tough holes. I will be back. And people coming from out of town need to play this one before any of the others ones. Just superb

Great course to play. It's well kept and fun to play. Gets a little busy in the afternoon so a morning round is best. As mentioned by others it can get muddy when it rains. Very popular course.

This course is home for myself and many locals. If you don't know the course, just come out and join a group! It is easy to navigate though. There is also a reverse layout. Really cool stuff.

great course!!! This is the friendliest course I have ever played for the out-of-towner. Superb tee signs, tee pads and "next tee" markers. The front nine has some of the best holes I have ever seen. Not real long by "championship" standards, but very challenging. Holes #5 and #6 are picture perfect. Can't wait to play a tournament here (even though I current live in Corpus Christi). Once again, this is a "must play" for anybody within a 2 hour drive.

Great course!!! Very well kept and very fun to play. Cement tee boxes and very well manicured. Although very challenging. Lots of trees. Definitely one I will be playing regularly.

Very difficult course for an amateur golfer. Rough terrain, lots of briar patches. Could use a lot of pruning to become a must play course. Nice baskets and tee signs paid for by the city of SA. Plan on 3+ hours to play all 18 holes in foursome.

Great course with nice mix of right turning and left turning holes. Only 2 holes put any premium on distance, fariways are narrow and players are penalized for shots that land outside of the fairway. Great baskets, concrete tee pads, well maintained, front nine & back nine start in the same area. Previous reviewer mentioned the course needs manicure attention, which is not the case. The rough is rough for a reason, to penalize errant shots.

Good starter course. VERY woody- Blair Witch stuff. Needs major manicure attention, has two water hazards (one comes with a goal on top of a hill). If it rains course will be very muddy. Good course layout and evenly numbered "pars".
