Beautiful course on the Spokane River. Very small course... only one hole over 400 feet! And even that is only 420 feet. However, where this course fails in offering ability for long range drives it makes up for its technicality. And what I mean by that is there are almost no fairways because of the amount of trees; Even though most of the holes are under 300 feet, exceptional aim is required to score under par due to the large number of trees placed directly between the pad and basket.
Here is a quick rundown of the shots (All par 3, note there are no actual distances posted but most holes are around 200-250 feet and all review is for the long distance holes, not shorter ones) Difficulty scale 1-5, 1 getting birdie 90+% of the time, 5 very rarely getting birdie:
1. Basket view from tee? (No, out of sight due to sudden terrain decline.)
Most successful with: RHBH anhyzer, sidearm, and thumber. Narrow window to tee off.
Difficulty: 2.
2. Basket view from tee? (Yes)
Most successful with: RHBH hyzer, RHBH straight. Water hazard if disc is thrown out too far to the right and doesn't fade back enough.
Difficulty: 1, one of the easiest shots in the game due too lack of trees.
3. Basket view from tee? (Yes)
Most successful with: RHBH anhyzer and sidarm.
Difficulty: 3, longer than both previous holes, but pretty straight forward.
4. Basket view from tee? (No, when basket is placed in long position)
Most successful with: sidearm, somewhat with RHBH anhyzer.
Difficulty: 4.
5. Basket view from tee? (Yes)
Most successful with: RHBH and thumber.
Difficulty: 3, no direct path to basket, have to navigate through trees.
6. Basket view from tee? (Yes)
Most successful with: RHBH straight and thumber.
Difficulty: 2, good tee off required.
7. Basket view from tee? (Yes)
Most successful with: RHBH hyzer hard fade.
Difficulty: 1, uphill shot.

Difficulty: 4, narrow straight corridor with a large bush directly in path 3/4 to the basket.

If you live near Post Falls, Idaho, Corbin Park is definitely a course to check out not for the distance challenge, but because the technicality. This make Corbin my second favorite course I have played (1st being A.W.O.L. in Farragut State Park.) All said, I give this course a 4/5 star which is an "excellent." Only negatives are the lack of posted hole distances, some pads are rubber instead of concrete, and I wish that many of the holes were farther but like I said, it makes up for it with its technicality and this is just me nit picking ;)
