Description

At Bixler Lake Park in Kendallville, Indiana. The front nine are on the east side of the lake, and you will likely drive to the back nine a mile away on the west side. Most holes are fairly wide open with multiple line options. Lightly wooded, though the trees are mostly mature. Moderate elevation on a few holes. Great beginner/family friendly course. Some weekends, non-residents must pay $3/vehicle park fee to access the front 9 on the east side of the lake.

Directions

To the front nine. From the South: Take 3 North (Lima Rd) from Fort Wayne. Turn right/east on S. Main St. Go north to a right on Diamond St. Go east to a left on S. Park Ave. Go north to a right on Lake Park Dr. Follow it around the north side of the lake to 1st tee by the gravel parking lot with baskets visible. To reach the back nine from the front nine. Take Lake Park Dr. back to the west side of the lake. Turn left/south on S. Park Ave, and take it south to a left on Diamond St. Go towards the Kendallville Water Dept. building to a left at the entrance. Drive up the hill to the parking lot by the basketball court and playground. Tee #10 is at the SE corner of this parking lot - amongst the pines near Kendallville Water Dept. fence.
