Well, I went and checked this course out for the first time in a couple of years and it sucks. It is a beautiful setting. But the set-up is now horrible. Tees are spread out in a very odd fashion; only SOME of the tees are marked....and not in a consistant manner. Some have a white piece of wood with a crude map; others are a red piece of wood lying on the ground, or pointing in the wrong direction; and some holes are just a number painted on the sidewalk in small numbers, with no arrow. Then the baskets: bent out of shape at times (OK, that is a $$$ thing), but WHY are the old hole numbers still on the baskets at some holes? # 11 says #7 (if that even IS the right basket....we searched are for 45 minutes after hole # 5 to continue...had to jump to #11 after major frustration), #15 basket still says #10, and most baskets are not numbered. Nor do many have an arrow pointing to next tee. THOSE is an easy fixes with stickers/wood and a sharpie!. (This is private property and I would not touch or change things without permission). We did find a few baskets with no clue as to where the tee was located, and again after lots of looking. Are some baskets used for more than one tee? The old #12 now clearly says it is #18. The map shown on this page (not in my review) is not complete or clear. It is a shame. Beautiful views, nice hole set-ups here and there. But for such a nice and maintained location, it is one the worst to try and figure out without upsetting your game flow. C'mon kids, you are in college! Also,, be aware of parking. It seems OK to park during weekend, but during the week security requests you stop at their office in Loyola Hall to pick up a free parking pass. Hope this helps. This course can be restored to its past glory with just a little work. This info here is outdated.
