This is the course where I started playing disc golf in the early 90s. Overall, it is a good course laid out on rolling hills with some wooded areas and a creek running through the middle. It allows a variety of shot selections on most of the holes, which vary from open to tight. It could definitely be better marked, but the park is generally well maintained. I last played it in the summer of 2018 while visiting family in Baton Rouge. I am looking forward to playing it again after the 2019 redesign and will update my review, if necessary, when I do.

Established course that is showing it's age. Print map to help navigate the course. I had one and still had some issues finding grass tee areas. It's obvious that the course once had good signage as there is evidence of broken signs and tee posts.

Layout is good and the course works up and down the hilly terrain nicely providing a solid variety of both up and down hill shots. Creek runs through course and partially plays on a few holes. Most holes have pro and am tees.

Park is currently (Winter/Spring 2010-11) going through major upgrade. Hopefully the course will see basic improvements during this process.
