The course is great, and in fact, was the first course I ever played a round of disc golf on. As the review above mentions, the course layout has a good variation of turns and elevations that make every hole a new challenge. The course is also well-maintained, clean and beautiful during the spring and summer when the vegetation adds a lot.

I played the Red Course at Lindsey Park on Sunday, January 17, 2010. It was a beautiful day and the course was very enjoyable.

Pros: The course has a great mix of wooded and open holes and a variety of hole length. The is also nice variation in elevation with some down hill, flat, and uphill holes. Multiple pads at each hole allow for players to choose between substantially different lengths on each hole. While I have not yet played the other courses at the park, an experienced player told me that the Red course was the most "family friendly" for players with children, and was more forgiving for less experienced players. The course was very well maintained and clean with garbage cans and benches at most pads. While the course was beautiful I think it would be even better in the spring or summer with more green grass and foliage.

Cons: There is a lack of signage for first timers and it was tricky finding the beginning of the course. Once we were sent in the right direction by a friendly local, the course was well marked and easy to navigate. Score cards are available but they were out when we began play.
