Course Reviews
All time favorite of mine, wide variety of holes, and a great location. Also not too crowded during weekdays.
Just moved up here. Takes me 30 minutes to get here. Worth it! This course is so challenging especially playing from the blue tees
Best course by far in illinois. I have played every course within a 40 mile radius of the northwest burbs, and this one is worth the drive. It's my weekend disc golf destination. The course winds through age old oaks, in combination with wide open "launch it" style holes. Perfect mix between the two. Multiple concrete teepads on every hole, decently maintaned grass with some water hazards, but nothing deeper than 6" that would be too tough to grab n go. Honestly, worth the drive. Check out this 27 hole beauty
Great course. Different tees for long, med, and short starts. Very open but the placement of the large oak trees everywhere still gives good variety of shots and plenty of choices on how to approach a basket. First 18 have good signage, but it can still be confusing if it is your first time playing here as there are so many baskets in such a small area. The last 9 are a tad trickier to figure out, especially the walk from 21 to 22. Would definitely recommend to all skill levels.
The Oaks is the best course we've played, even better than Lemon Lake. A little trick to help navigate is the red mark on each basket. It points directly at the next tee. With that bit of info you don't even need a map. We found the cheap, plastic, (mostly broken), signage at Lemon Lake frustrating ad quit on the 10th hole because we couldn't find the 11th tee... even with the map. Sticking with The Oaks.
I enjoyed playing this course, though it seems almost every hole could be solved with low straight throw, a laser beam so to speak. Though other lines are available, the low straight shot seems to be the best choice time and time again. That's really my only complaint. The grounds are well maintained and as others have stated, there were quite a few other players on the course (despite the rain).
I really enjoyed this course, it has plenty of long holes with some nice obstacles. I did not check in, which I wish I would have to get a map. It can be very confusing where the next tee is at since many cross over each other. Lots of fun, I always enjoy any course that has 27 holes and multiple tee locations. I would probably have given this one a 4.5 for the area. In the top 5 courses for Chicago area. Worth the drive!
SO SICK must play, worth a drive, all 27 are different, great use of available terrain, every kind of shot, big baskets, concrete pads, garbage cans,
could use better signs, slightly confusing to navigate
with 27 holes, this course has every kind of hole you can think of: easy, difficult, open, wooded, long, short, you get the picture. I really enjoyed playing this course and would rate it as one of my favorites. The land is well kept, and there are plenty of trash cans on the course so people will keep things clean. The course caters to all skills levels with 3 differnt tee-offs per hole (easy, medium, hard) and the pars, while a little generous, are pretty agreeable. Don't come here to play with the wrong mindset though, otherwise you'll get tired of all the holes...come in ready to play and you won't be disappointed.
awesome course with every kind of hole you would want to shoot at. Open, closed and inbetween is how the 27 hole course is layed out. The pars are fairly easy. Each hole has 3 different t offs. Beginer, intermediate, and pro. An average player shooting from the pro toffs will probably shoot way under par. Easy course makes you want to keep coming back. I would recomend playing doubles on this course. Very fun
Best in the southern burbs, possibly best in Chicagoland (haven't played all yet). Great mix of long and short through the Oaks with choices for how to approach the basket. Extra nine had several narrow holes through forest. Well worth the drive if you don't live nearby.
One of the best courses in Chicagoland...worth the drive to the south suburbs. Mature oak forest provides plenty of shade on hot days, a few holes dug tightly into mixed forest to test your short game, well maintained with plenty of trash bins (use them!), short to long shots abound, multiple concrete tees provide variety for regulars, early mornings are best because crowds can build up by midday, fitness center sells good variety of discs (pricey though)...27 holes are hard to find anywhere so enjoy it to its fullest.

Solid course. Fun, with good variety of shots. Wide open in many spots and fairly long.
