Good course, lots of blind tee shots that require a bit of shot shaping and also mean you need to be aware of players around you. Good variety of types of shots. Finding the next tee can be an issue. Cypress trees are difficult to get discs out of but fortunately small enough they don't grab a lot of discs. Last few holes finish near the bay and are very picturesque.

I must say, for me personally, this is one of, if not my favorite course. If you like beachy ocean front scenery, this is it. This is a county park, and the course is very well maintained. It is a true 18 hole course. At the beginning of each hole at the tee there is a pin marker letting you know which of the three pins are in use for that day, because each hole has three pin options(A, B, or C) for the course handlers to choose from, therefore, you can throw a different course every time you come. They move the pins around every week or two which changes the way you will play the course when they do switch pins. This changes the course from beginner, to high intermediate in difficulty depending on pin setup. Plenty of open mixed with a lot of woods, and trees. There are some holes right on the water, which adds to the difficulty level. Each hole has 2 tee concrete pads to choose from, beginner, or advanced. There is also a map of the hole, the distance in feet, the par for each pin. There are arrows on each pin basket pointing to the next hole, but this is the only shortfall to me, in that they are not well placed, and can be a little difficult to navigate if you haven't been there before(a group I was with got lost on our first visit there, and the team in front of our group a week ago got lost on the 5th hole), but it isn't too difficult, you just have to pay more attention and do a little more searching than you would like for the next hole. Other than that, this course is generally a very fun course to play. There is also a giant course map as you are walking to the first tee, which you can take a picture of and reference when playing. Enjoy.

I'm not a seasoned tour player, so I'm tempering my love for this local course of mine. The course has undergone monumental changes in the last year; no longer a nine hole course, but a technical and fun full eighteen. Positioned right on Tampa Bay, definitely a destination course for anyone passing through the area. I hope this course gets the recognition it deserves in years to come.

Played this course last week with 2 of my sons. We really enjoyed our round. I thought it is a very good course. The scenery is beautiful, with all the vegetation. Hole #8 along the beach is on my list of "5 most scenic holes" and I have played almost 100 courses in 22 states.

Fun course with a variety of long and short holes. Playing from the red tees lets you really challenge your arm. Hole 8 is probably one of the most beautiful I've ever played, as it plays directly on a beach on Tampa Bay with views of downtown St. Pete in the distance. Windy days can add lots of difficulty, so be ready for some sailing. Also, the shrubs can eat discs, so a spotter is a plus. Overall, this is a great little scenic course, with the added bonus of being able to cool off by walking out into the bay after a round of hot Florida disc.
