Picnic Island Disc Golf

I must say, for me personally, this is one of, if not my favorite course. If you like beachy ocean front scenery, this is it. This is a county park, and the course is very well maintained. It is a true 18 hole course. At the beginning of each hole at the tee there is a pin marker letting you know which of the three pins are in use for that day, because each hole has three pin options(A, B, or C) for the course handlers to choose from, therefore, you can throw a different course every time you come. They move the pins around every week or two which changes the way you will play the course when they do switch pins.This changes the course from beginner, to high intermediate in difficulty depending on pin setup. Plenty of open mixed with a lot of woods,and trees. There are some holes right on the water, which adds to the difficulty level. Each hole has 2 tee concrete pads to choose from, beginner, or advanced. There is also a map of the hole, the distance in feet, the par for each pin. There are arrows on each pin basket pointing to the next hole, but this is the only shortfall to me, in that they are not well placed, and can be a little difficult to navigate if you haven't been there before(a group I was with got lost on our first visit there, and the team in front of our group a week ago got lost on the 5th hole), but it isn't too difficult, you just have to pay more attention and do a little more searching than you would like for the next hole. Other than that, this course is generally a very fun course to play. There is also a giant course map as you are walking to the first tee, which you can take a picture of and reference when playing. Played this course last week with 2 of my sons. We really enjoyed our round. I thought it is a very good course. The scenery is beautiful, with all the vegetation. Hole #8 along the beach is on my list of "5 most scenic holes" and I have played almost 100 courses in 22 states.
