Description

A beginner friendly course that can be made more challenging by playing the walking paths as OB. Concrete tees, but some tees are off the asphalt path. Some good up and down hill shots. Fairways are carved out in some of the long/prairie grass areas and an island hole on #5 was created with selective mowing. Constant wind from the neighboring quarry increases the difficulty level. Directions

In Algonquin Lakes sub division. There are two entrances to the course. From Algonquin Rd; take Sandbloom Rd south, turn left on Compton. Either make first right on Lake Cornish Way and follow winding road to the parking lot on the left OR go straight on Compton and turn into Algonquin Lakes Elementary (2nd lot entrance) and drive through the lot around the school to the 1st tee on the left. The sub division is also accessible off of Algonquin Rd from High Point Ridge or Compton Dr which is the newer light near the gas station at Algonquin Rd and Lake Cook Rd.
