Description

"The Sammy" at Madison County Recreation Department in Danielsville, Georgia is a 18-hole free-to-play public beginner/intermediate course that is deceptively challenging, while still manageable for newer players. A variety of wide open field shots, lightly and heavily wooded holes, steep uphills, sweeping downhills, over multiple creeks, and with a few OB zones.

Great public restrooms, snacks, drinking fountains, and playgrounds throughout (even a summertime splash pad for kids). It is moderately disc cart friendly (although #10 will challenge a bit), but it is not wheelchair accessible beyond holes #1-3. Total distance walking is 3.04 miles, with elevation gain and loss of about 220'. Equipped with maintained gravel tee boxes, DISCatcher Pro baskets (installed on dedicated raised pedestals), clear high-quality tee signs and smaller white next tee signs.

Be very cautious for people on holes #12 & 13, and on holes #14 & #15 for cars.

Directions
