Disclaimer: I am the designer so this review is to provide information to a first time visitor. This course has 18 holes, 14 with two tees, 4 with one tee for both Red and Blue courses. There is a separate 9 hole Orange course suitable for youth and beginners. The park is nice with restrooms and water fountains at Holes 1 and 17. All tee pads are paved except for #7 which is a wood deck with a rubber pad. All holes have signs with hole length, pin location, OB locations, and directions to next hole. Navigation is fairly easy with next hole signs in trees where needed. Each hole has one pin placement. Course is hilly with around 100 steps. There are two major hill climbs and two descents; trail shoes are recommended. Course is tight, but fairways are obvious. Rough is forgiving, except for holes 7,17, and 18 which have thick briars to the right (tasty blackberries in season).
I recommend paying your first round from the Red tees to establish pin locations before tackling the Blue tees which typically add 6 to 12 throws to your round.
Locals play weekly singles or random draw dubs, check links for schedule.
