Classic Austin course. First played in the mid 90's and still remember how you're not really sure where you are geographically, just thinking hole to hole, until you pop back out by the beginning.

This is a must play course if your in Austin. The course looks like it is kept up well. A few signs need to be replace but you can see most baskets from the tee and following the obvious paths to the next tee box is easy. Most of the holes are fairly short and the baskets are mostly in the open making for some ace runs if your on target. Fairways can be a little tight so aim well as getting off course in the cedar trees will haunt you. There's every type of shot here making the course fun for right or left handed players. The course is cart friendly except for some occasional logs used for erosion control. Every tee pad has large blocks to sit on and shaded. There's hardly any grass down most of the fairways so your disc will skip on the hard ground a lot which in most cases is good. Hole 15 tee is on the top of a hill and the basket is on the bottom making for a very cool shot down the hill. The course seems to stay busy so plan on going on a weekday or off time so you can take it all in. Well done Austin!

southpawpat is referring to Hole 15, Searight's signature hole. This is one of Austin's most popular, therefore, busiest course. Lots of fun, less than a mile long, can play at least 2-3 games in one day. Friday's mini's are doubles during daylight savings time, singles rest of year.
See ya there!

Beautiful, well kept course, with a variety of challenging holes, by far the best in Austin.

One of the cleanest most straightforward courses in all of southeast. Some variety of shots and for the most part each hole has a view of the basket. Beautiful teepads and signage. Fairways are well kept with dense cedar forests on some holes. Hole 16 I think is a downhill beauty with great views of the surrounding forest. Some birdie holes, lots of people there on fridays for mixed doubles! Overall I recommend this course to anyone passing through as it is an easy to follow 18 holes.
