I am from out of town and looked here for a course near Paradise Island Florida. I found this course and selected it because of a previous review that said the signage was great. It's amazing!! I have played many courses and simply looked around for the next tee box or had no idea where the basket was located or even played the course wrong because of the lack of direction. If you cannot figure this course out then perhaps you need to rethink playing disc!! This course is great and the signage is awesome. The layout is challenging and the many different pin placements in addition to the pro and am tees make this course simply incredible. I played the first round alone without problems and then had the privilege of meeting some of the really cool locals. Rich, Don and Blue allowed me to play a second round with them and I had a great time. I give this course a 4/5 only because it'must s pretty flat and I feel the best of the best have elevation as well. But hey!! it's Florida! If I ever have the opportunity to come back and play this course I will certainly take full advantage of it. My only regret was that I only got to play 1 layout. Nice work fellas!!

We like this course, gives us 36 holes with the different tee boxes, good open ground as well as trees and palms and water. Always play here whenever we come to the West Coast. Nice signs now as well!

I played this course for the first time about a month ago, and was suprised how clean it was. The course is well laid out with plenty of trees to challenge you. There are a couple of holes along the edge of the lake to test your fear of water. The signs are some of the best I've seen, with markers for basket locations,and a broom hanging at every pad. You can tell this club appreciates their park. All in all I really enjoyed this course and am looking forward to playing it again. Well worth the drive from Tampa to play a couple of rounds with you friends. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

I have played all the other courses in the pinellas county area, and Taylorpark is by far the best, and well maintained of them all. The course offers Concrete pads, as well as amateur pads on the long and water holes. Multiple pin positions changed regularly. Good quality baskets. Signs at each hole showing the layout, and accurate depictions of landmarks/trees. Benches, and bag racks at every hole.
TaylorPark is a challenging, and extremely fun course. It offers great throwing lanes for both backhand, and side arm throwers. The canopy is well maintained by the park, and club volunteers. While most of the course is relatively open. It still has a plethora of trees forcing you to make accurate shots, and ultimately improving your game. I do not find the water hazards to be a problem, as you are not throwing over the water, but along side it. This course is in a very nice, and en turn very busy park especially in the snowbird season. On some holes this presents a problem on busy days having to wait to throw until the coast is clear. Many of the walkers in the park seem to accommodate the players, and there are signs along the trail warning them of "flying discs". Like others have said the club has done so much to make this the best course in the area, and is adamant about keeping it that way.

I have been playing Taylor Park for about a year. I liked the course the first time I played it. It is very well designed. Most of the front nine holes are a little shoert, but with difficult tree and palmetto hazards. The back nine has a few longer holes, and there is water on a few of the holes. It can be challenging at times, particularly if it is windy as it often is at mid-day. Having said all this, the course has done nothing but get better and better over the course of 2010. I came from Ohio, and have been in Florida for a little over a year. I have yet to see any club do as much for their course as the Taylor Park Disc Golf Club. I have seen and been a part of new tees being added, new signs with pictures of the Taylor park club members featured. There are numerous benches, and bag racks. It is well kept and groomed. We have recently added brooms to every tee as well. Sunday handicaps are at 9:00, and have fielded as many as 56 players. Tuesday night features A pool/B pool blind draw doubles at 6:00pm. We have seen upwards of 25 people for that event as well. I am always quick to recommend the course to anyone who hasn't played it and played it recently. Well done, Taylor Park Disc Golf Club!

A very challenging course with many alternate pin locations and a number of short pads for novice players. You will be required to use many different "shots" if you wish to score low. State of the art tee signs and directional signs mean that new players will never question where the next tee is or where a basket is located. The club attached to the course is very active, has very good attendance for handicap tourneys on weekends, and puts a lot of money into the course for improvements. This is a "must play" when visiting the area or should be a regular stop for the locals. Bag racks and benches have recently been installed on all holes and they have whisk brooms on every hole for cleaning the pads!

Great job guys!!!! Keep up the improvements!!!!

Interesting, challenging course, largely defined by water hazards. Claimed two of my discs -- one in a gator-filled lake, the other in a treetop.
