Missy Gannon set the blistering pace to open the 2024 Disc Golf Pro Tour — Preserve Championship connected by Microsoft Teams.

On the first card out to kick off the beloved stop in Minnesota, Gannon fired off a 1037-rated opening round — unofficially the highest of her career — to kick start what looks to be a sprint to the finish through the entire event.

Gannon turned in the only double-digit round of the day in FPO — jumping out to a two-stroke lead over Holyn Handley and a four-stroke lead over Ohn Scoggins and Maria Olivia — and the MPO field followed in her tracks in the afternoon with 15 players hitting double digits or more.

All with rounds checking in a 1079, Benjamin Callaway, Cole Redalen and Kyle Klein are the three co-leaders in Clearwater and Isaac Robinson is one stroke back with a 13-under opening round.

Ricky Wysocki is two strokes back and Gavin Rathbun, Gannon Buhr, Sullivan Tipton and Luke Taylor are all three strokes off the rocket pace that kicked off the Preserve Championship on Friday.
