Film creator Dennis Warsen, Bill Nye "The Science Guy," and Dan "Stork" Roddick (PDGA #3).

Filmmaker Dennis Warsen has traveled the globe to speak with the pioneers and innovators who shaped the game of disc golf and to reveal how the rapidly evolving sport has touched the lives of the people who play it. His new documentary, Disc Golf: History in the Making will feature interviews with legends of the sport, like Dan “Stork” Roddick, and conversations with some of today’s top professionals. 

The film also looks into the lives of others who are passionate about disc golf, including a few famous faces, like Bill Nye “The Science Guy.”

Warsen hopes to raise $110,000 on the Indiegogo platform and has been collaborating with three major stakeholders since the project's inception: the PDGA, the Disc Golf Pro Tour, and the World Flying Disc Federation (WFDF), an international sports federation responsible for world governance of flying disc sports.

Filming for Disc Golf: History in the Making began in November 2018. The crowdfunding campaign is set to run through May 27th, 2022. The targeted release date for the film is Feb 15, 2023. Flatball Film LLC is a film production company based in Oakland CA, originally formed to produce Mr. Warsen’s first feature documentary Flatball, A History of Ultimate, narrated by Alec Baldwin and currently available on Amazon Prime.
