Simon Lizotte took down his second consecutive Music City Open in decisive fashion, holding the lead at the end of each round throughout the weekend. Lizotte accomplished this feat despite reporting multiple ailments during the Thursday press conference and throughout the weekend.
Flashes of 2016 also came out during the event, with Paul McBeth and Ricky Wysocki making statement finishes. McBeth took home second-place honors while Wysocki made a push from the chase card to stay in the mix and round out the MPO podium, tying with Tennessee native Chris Dickerson.
