As the weather got better throughout the morning at DGPT Europe Elite Series Copenhagen Open, both the scores and the excitement around the course were reflected in the improving conditions.

Moving Day really lived up to its name and the leaderboard now looks rather different than after R1. 10 players shot double digits below par and both Finnish Eetu Tuominen and local favourite Hjalte Jensen came in with the temporary hot round with -11. And while Hjalte moved up 27 spots he has to settle for chase card action while Eetu finds himself on lead card in T3 with Niklas Anttila in -18.

Moving Day from the Start in Copenhagen

The sun brought warmer weather to the Danish capital for 2nd the DGPT Europe Elite Series Copenhagen Open, attracting spectators out to see the action.

They quickly realised that Eveliina Salonen (FIN) who started the day in 9th place was worth following as she started the round on fire -5 through 4 holes.

That meant that she was temporarily in the lead as reigning champion and leader after Day 1 Kaidi Allsalu started her round a bit slower than yesterday.

However, that all changed on hole 7 when she caught fire birdieing 9 of the 12 remaining holes. That means that she is still in the lead for the final round tomorrow, joined on lead card by the Finnish trio Eveliina Salonen in 2nd, Silva Saarinen in 3rd in -9 and Jenni Karppinen in 4th, who climbed one spot up to claim the final spot with a -1 round.
