Description

A fun quick, short 9-hole loop next to the 27 hole main course. Great for kids, novices, and practice. Sandy high desert hillside with junipers, granite outcroppings, and dry creeks. Covered in native sage, brush, and cacti. A variety of shots between scattered trees. There are lizards, rabbits, small birds, some birds of prey, and occasional horseback riders. While coyotes and snakes are rare, please be cautious and keep your eyes open. Baskets are blue (yellow on the big course). Roman numerals 1 to 9 (I to IX) are shown on carved stone tee markers and the baskets. 1st tee is downhill of the park facility along the paved road. See bench and map post near the end of the split rail fence. Next Tee arrows are under the baskets - follow the trails marked with green stakes. Note: 7 baskets used for 9 holes. The road and school are OB.
