Description

The front 9 is a park course - mostly open and mowed. Some raised baskets. The second half of the course is a standard Carolina Piedmont woods course - longer than the front but secluded and quiet. No swimming for discs on #2 - the island green is in use for approved tournaments only.

Directions

Fom South Charlotte; north on I-77 to Exit 16 - the second exit 16 ramp to go west on Sunset Road. Go 1.5 miles to a right on Beatties Ford Road. 3 miles then left into park. Drive to end of that park road. Tennis on left and parking on right. There is a set of dumpsters on the far right corner of the parking lot. Charlotte's Web course starts behind them (closer to the tennis courts). Hornet's Nest course starts through the cedar welcome sign, closer to the BMX track.
