Description

Crater Lakes Disc Golf Park resides within the belly of a crater of a dormant volcano that shares it's name (Mount Gambier) with the city that lies at its feet. Beautiful and picturesque crater walls tower above the championship level 8638' Par 65 course. This layout implemented for the 2019 Australian Disc Golf Championships makes use of 4 new permanent baskets that play over and around the alluring Valley Lake and some modified holes of the pre-existing advanced layout. The versatile terrain allows the course to make use of wooded and open spaces with both flat and undulating holes that flirt with the crater walls themselves. This humbling and serene parkland is an incredible setting - a unique disc golf course within a volcano.
