The 2021 United States Amateur Disc Golf Championship has been rescheduled for June 11-13, one week later than previously announced.

The move was made in response to scheduling conflicts with park maintenance crews and was necessary to ensure that all required course prep work could be completed before competitors arrive.

Tournament Directors from surrounding events, including several A-tiers which come within the mileage restrictions specified in the PDGA Tour Standards, signed-off on the change before it was finalized this week.

The schedule for the 2021 PDGA A-Tiers is now available, along with the 2021 PDGA Tour Standards that will go into effect on Jan. 1, 2021.

PDGA state and provincial coordinators may now start accepting requests for approval of dates for 2021 B-Tier and C-Tier events.

The 2021 PDGA Event Sanctioning Form is now enabled, so tournament directors for pre-approved 2021 A-Tiers and State/Provincial Coordinator-approved 2021 B & C-Tiers may now submit their sanctioning.

The coronavirus pandemic forced nearly all PDGA Major events to be rescheduled for 2021. Those tournaments will be held at the same locations where they were originally scheduled, and now we know when those competitions will take place.

The cancellation of 2020 PDGA World Championship events has resulted in several modifications to invite and points requirement criteria for when these tournaments run in 2021. Most importantly:

Proposals to host a 2021 PDGA Major will be accepted until November 1, 2019. These events include the PDGA United States Women’s Disc Golf Championship; the PDGA Tim Selinske U.S. Masters Championship; the PDGA Professional Disc Golf World Championship; the PDGA Masters Disc Golf World Championships; the PDGA Junior Disc Golf World Championships; and the PDGA Amateur Disc Golf World Championships.
