They entered the week in the top spots and left in the exact same spot.

Kristin Tattar and Ricky Wysocki are the 2022 Disc Golf Pro Tour Championship presented by Barbasol champions.

After their respective dominant — and consistent — seasons, both Tattar and Wysocki entered the bracket-style finale of the 2022 DGPT season as the top seeds after taking down the regular-season points standings.

They both survived Saturday's semifinal rounds and their journey to the final putts of the year couldn't have been any different.

A classic Paul McBeth and Ricky Wysocki finish is on tap, mixed in with two players — Gannon Buhr and Isaac Robinson — who have quickly established themselves in a short amount of time, at the 2022 Disc Golf Pro Tour Championship presented by Barbasol.

Nevin Park has delivered a fast and furious show at the 2022 Disc Golf Pro Tour Championship presented by Barbasol.

The action has been intense, the scores ever-changing and the pressure to advance to the next round and one step closer to a record-setting payout has come down to the wire.

Now, it's the weekend.

Two of the top seeds from Friday's quarterfinal round — Valerie Mandujano and the defending champion Missy Gannon — both advanced to Saturday's semifinal round with strong performances: 3-under for Gannon and a course record 5-under for Mandujano.

The bar has been set at Nevin Park.

Bradley Williams opened the Disc Golf Pro Tour Championship presented by Barbasol with a 7-under par round to lead the four players who will move on to the quarterfinals.

Williams found a rhythm quickly with seven birdies in the first eight holes around a double bogey, which encapsulates the DGPT version of Nevin Park: big numbers can loom large in the tight woods.

There was no slowing down in 2022.

As the Disc Golf Pro Tour became the Official Pro Tour of the PDGA, the Elite Series rose to even greater heights (and will be even bigger) in 2022. Week-in and week-out, the action was intense and the finishes were often dramatic.

It all wraps up this week in Charlotte, North Carolina for the 2022 Disc Golf Pro Tour Championship Presented by Barbasol.
