What started out a decade and a half ago as an 88-person B-Tier is now the biggest event in disc golf history. And with that distinction comes another accolade for the Dynamic Discs Glass Blown Open, which takes place this week in Emporia, Kansas: It has a nearly $2 million impact on the city it calls home.

After three days of seemingly nonstop activity, the 2015 Dynamic Discs Glass Blown Open has finally come to end. The weather finally took a turn today, not so much for the worse, but for the usual. For the first time this week it was actually windy. Drives, approaches, and upshots were plagued by air-bounces and unpredictable flight paths. At a course like Emporia Country Club, this is actually a good thing, as it forces all the players into a situation where only the best will survive.

Wow. What a day here in Emporia, KS for Round 2 of the 2015 Dynamic Discs Glass Blown Open (GBO). Once again, the ever-present wind that typically plagues the courses in this part of the country was nowhere to be seen. The players competing in the PDGA National Tour event made their way to Jones East DGC today to take on a par 62 layout that measures in at just under 8,000 feet. We always expect a few players to shoot unbelievable rounds, but the scores that ended up coming in were simply mind-blowing.
