Pro Worlds Registration

Tomorrow, Friday, August 1st is the last day to register for Pro Worlds Singles, Mixed Doubles, Field Events, or get on the Pro Worlds waitlist.  Tomorrow is also the last day for players that are “IN” the event to withdraw and receive a full refund minus the $10 handling fee.  Those withdrawing from the event after August 1st will only receive a player’s pack.

If you know you will not be able to attend Pro Worlds in Portland, please withdraw now so someone can get in off the waitlist and make their travel plans.

Pro Worlds Waitlist

Anyone currently on the Pro Worlds waitlist may remain on the waitlist and if they don’t get into the event they will receive a full refund minus the $10 handling fee after the event concludes.

However, if you are on the waitlist and know you can’t attend or it is too late to make travel plans at this late date, please let us know now to remove you from the waitlist so we can process your refund and speed up any last minute additions by only calling those folks who actually can attend.

If you are on the waitlist and already planning on being in Portland regardless of not being “IN” yet, please stop by Player Check-in at Blue Lake on Sunday and let us know that you are in town and ready to play.  If we get a late confirmed drop during check-in, we will call the waitlist (in order) to try and back-fill the open spot.  However we will NOT fill spots from players who didn’t make check-in as they may simply have had a travel delay.

Confirmation Package

If you haven't already, please download the 2014 Pro World Championships Confirmation Package now.

The package includes a welcome letter from the TD, an overview map of the Portland area and all the course maps & course rules.  Plenty of other useful information and everything you need to know is available in the 2014 PDGA Pro Worlds section.

Keen Shoes Sponsorship

The good folks at Keen Footwear are providing a pair of shoes to the competitors in Pro Worlds.  You may pick-up your shoes on Monday, August 11th from 3:00-5:45PM at Blue Lake Park just prior to the start of the Player Meeting.

Those players who have come off the waitlist and did not receive an email asking for their shoe size should email their Name, PDGA#, and shoe size to [email protected]

Mixed Doubles

We currently have 28 teams signed up for Mixed Doubles on Saturday, August 9th at beautiful Pier Park, so we have room for 8 more teams.  If you are on the fence about playing Mixed Doubles, please note that Huk Lab will be sponsoring an “After Party” for the Mixed Doubles competitors. 

If you’d like to add Mixed Doubles to your registration please register by Friday, August 1st. Use the “choose existing registrant” link to pay just the $50 fee for Mixed Doubles.  Please be sure to let us know your partners name and PDGA number in the notes field.

Field Events 

There is still space for each of the Field Events (EDGE Skillshot, Long Drive, and Putting) held on Sunday, August 10th at Blue Lake Park.

If you’d like to add one or more Field Events to your registration please register by Friday, August 1st. Use the “choose existing registrant” link to pay just the $20 fee for each of the Field Events.

Divisions of One

All divisions must have at least two competitors to be held.  The following divisions currently have only a single competitor registered:

• Female Legend - FPL
• Male Grand Legend – MPR

If a second competitor does not register for these divisions by tomorrow, the single player in each of these divisions will need to move to Senior Grandmaster Women and Senior Legend Men respectively or they may withdraw and receive a full refund minus the $10 non-refundable handling fee.
