MEDIA & CONTENT
As a part of your PDGA membership benefit package, all active PDGA members are eligible for a 50% discount on a monthly subscription to the Disc Golf Network (DGN). Members also receive free access to select DGN broadcasts throughout the 2023 season including:

- (All Rounds) PDGA Champions Cup | April 20 – 23
- (Final Two Rounds) PDGA Professional World Championship | August 30 – September 3

For members in the US and Canada, media benefits include electronic and/or printed issues of DiscGolfer Magazine - up to a $20 value, FREE (Those outside North America can opt-in to receive the magazine for $40.) Membership dollars also contribute to the production of disc golf videos, newsletters, and more.
These benefits are in addition to the PDGA’s own initiatives to create and host more, new disc golf content on PDGA social media and YouTube channels.
PLAYER EXPERIENCE
Play at a discounted rate
When you sign up for C tier PDGA-sanctioned event as a current PDGA member, you’ll be able to register for $10 less than non-members (in the USA and Canada only). Play a few tournaments and the membership essentially pays for itself.
Track your improvement
PDGA members have access to a personal player page that keeps track of their lifetime player ratings and statistics as well as other resources and tools benefitting the competition experience. Your PDGA player page will be updated with your personal rating every time your most recent competition results are official, which helps to show your improvement as a player against others in the sport and helps guide which division you should play in. Compete more, improve, and watch your player points add up to qualifications in PDGA World Championship tournaments.
Event support
PDGA memberships fund the PDGA’s support of tournament directors and organizers via dedicated staff and event management tools - making the playing experience better for all ages and ability levels. The Event Support Team works seven days a week, providing real, live support to keep all 8,900+ PDGA events running smoothly. This is a significant initiative for 2023 and beyond.
Your Membership, Your Voice
PDGA members can help shape the future of the sport by running for a spot on the Board of Directors, contributing as a vital volunteer in the form of a State or Provincial Coordinator, or simply voting in the organization’s annual elections.
Additional discounts to benefit members while they play
PDGA members are given discounts at various organizations including: travel accommodations such as lodging and car rental, printing, eyewear and more.
New members in the US and Canada also receive a custom stamped PDGA disc and mini, a $20 value.
International membership: Because each national association may also charge a fee, players outside of the US/Canada have a membership price of just $20 for Amateur / Junior and $30 for Professional.
TECHNOLOGY & TOOLS
PDGA membership funds new technology development and support, AND gives members access to many new tools. While round and player ratings are likely the most well-known unique technology service, members also benefit from:
- Increased access to disc golf content thanks to additional equipment and dedicated PDGA staff
- PDGA.com - the source for disc golf news, information and member services
- PDGA Tournament Manager and PDGA Digital Scorecard at sanctioned events
- Digital rulebook and other tools/information sources, like the course directory, updated in real-time and accessible anywhere

GROWTH & GOODWILL
In 2022, the PDGA gained more than 40,000 new members and had a 19% growth in total active members. In 2022, the PDGA has sanctioned more than 8,900 events worldwide.
A PDGA membership enables:
Marketing and support of PDGA Majors - the pinnacle of disc golf competition and a major point of awareness for the sport.
Competition endowment program - provides a means to promote charity events, and events that promote the growth of disc golf and PDGA membership.
