2024 PDGA Am Worlds — Day 3 Recap
It's time to make a move in Grand Rapids.
Just 36 holes remain in the 2024 PDGA Amateur Disc Golf World Championships presented by Discraft and the sprint to the finish is on.
For the first time this week, Ryan Monn is on top of the MA1 leaderboard after a clean, 9-under round at Fallasburg, but the field is right behind him.

Six players are within five strokes, including Andrew Hedgspath in solo second at 24-under par, two behind Monn, who is looking to close out an Am Slam of USADGC, Junior Worlds and Am Worlds. Hedgspath turned in an 8-under round to move up four spots.
Ethan Owens had a 9-under round to climb 14 spots into solo third at 23-under. Aidan Hosler had an ace — one of EIGHT aces throughout the tournament on Thursday — and the sizzling round of 12-under to rise 43 spots and round out Friday's lead card.
Brock Tennyson, Mason McLean and John Ryan III are also tied for fourth at 22-under as action for the A Pool shifts to a shootout at Johnson Park.
In FA1, there was plenty of movement, except at the top.
Virginia Polkinghorne extended her lead to six strokes over the record 114-player field. Polkinghorne birdied the final three holes at Brewer Park, site of Championship Saturday, for a 6-under round.
Brook Johnson had the third-hottest round at 7-under to move up six spots into a tie for second place with Therese Cuevas.
Ginelle Kohl had the hottest round of the day at 9-under to climb six spots into solo fourth place. Addison Woodard eagled the final hole to wrap up an 8-under round and a five-spot climb into a tie for fifth with Michaela Kerr.
