Also new in 2023 is the addition of a pre-round, half-time, and post-round show: Tournament Central. The show will feature highlights, player interviews, and analysis for Elite, Elite+, and Playoff events, plus PDGA Pro Majors this season. Tournament Central will begin thirty minutes before the FPO round and will continue between FPO and MPO to recap the FPO round before transitioning to pre-round MPO content (halftime) and will wrap up the day’s competition with a post-round MPO show. All told, Tournament Central will add a minimum of an hour and forty-five minutes of live content each day on top of standard live broadcasts. The FPO pre-round show and the MPO post-round show will also be available for free on the DGPT YouTube channel.
"Tournament Central is the next step forward in the evolution of our live product and will add more depth and quality to the live viewing experience,” said Mahmoud Bahrani, DGPT Media Director, “With more interviews, highlights, and analysis, it'll be easier than ever for disc golf fans to immerse themselves into the constantly evolving storylines on the Disc Golf Pro Tour.”

With expanded coverage of Silver Events and the PDGA Euro Tour, the Disc Golf Network is set to deliver live coverage of over thirty-five events, including nine events in Europe, with the potential to add more later this year. Disc Golf Network subscribers can look forward to over 240 rounds of live competition between the MPO and FPO divisions and full-day coverage thanks to Tournament Central. With the addition of three planned featured hole broadcasts (Worlds, USDGC, & MVP Open), the Disc Golf Network will stream upwards of 1,400 hours of live content to fans this year.
“We’re proud to offer a comprehensive package of live professional disc golf coverage this season,” said Jeff Spring, DGPT & Disc Golf Network CEO. “Thanks to our team’s hard work, we’re set to deliver the largest live broadcast slate since Disc Golf Network’s inception in 2020. Our continued partnerships with the European Open and the USDGC, paired with seven new Euro Tour events and three times the coverage at Silver Events, means that DGN subscribers have access to live coverage of the most meaningful disc golf events in the world.”
The Disc Golf Network will continue to broadcast all rounds of Elite, Elite+, and Playoff events, plus PDGA Pro Majors; all included with a Disc Golf Network subscription. Subscribers will have standard tournament coverage of the European Open and the USDGC included in their subscriptions. Bonus pay-per-view packages at the European Open and USDGC will include live coverage of the President’s Cup and Monday Qualifying, respectively, amongst other inclusions. Disc Golf Network will continue to provide at least one round of free coverage on the DGPT YouTube channel for Elite, Elite+, Playoffs, and select PDGA Pro Majors, but the coverage will shift to the first round instead of the final round at most events.
“With Disc Golf Network’s live product continuing to evolve and production value increasing each season, we are exploring live broadcast distribution on multiple platforms beyond YouTube,” said Jeff Spring, DGPT & Disc Golf Network CEO. “As we work to deliver live disc golf to an expanded national audience, it's important that we maintain flexibility to distribute final rounds on other platforms while increasing the value of the Disc Golf Network subscription.”
Disc golf fans will continue to have flexibility in terms of how they consume disc golf. Disc Golf Network will continue to make individual tournaments and rounds available to purchase for those who do not have a Disc Golf Network subscription. Individual rounds will start at $5.99 per round, with tournaments starting at $10.99. Pricing will vary based on the event and event length. A Disc Golf Network subscription will be $12.99 per month or $129.99 annually for the 2023 season.
PDGA members will continue to receive complimentary access to select live coverage this season as a member benefit. All current PDGA members will receive free access to the Las Vegas Challenge, the PDGA Champions Cup, the U.S. Women’s Disc Golf Championship, the final two rounds of Pro Worlds, and the MVP Open.
