Paul McBeth is a four-time PDGA World Champion, two-time United States Disc Golf Champion, and has won a total of 13 Majors and 21 National Tour events in his 12-year pro career.

Now, he can add another feather to his cap: He's the leader in all-time prize money earned at PDGA events.

McBeth's $3,510 from his victory at the Jonesboro Open last weekend brought his career winnings total to $432,908.09, which helped him leapfrog 12-time PDGA World Champion Ken Climo on the money list.

The Huntington Beach, California, native said he knew the accomplishment was coming thanks to a widely circulated video that helped visualize disc golfers' career earnings. But it was still a surprise that it happened so soon.

"I kinda had an idea, but I didn't know that it was gonna be done after Jonesboro," McBeth said on this week's episode of PDGA Radio. "So that was cool that it happened with a big win like that."

McBeth said the money mark wasn't one he ever eyeballed, just due to the fact that payouts vary from one tournament to another. Still, he was happy to have surpassed a Disc Golf Hall of Famer in Climo.

"The numbers that he put out there, they've always seemed untouchable," McBeth said. "So to break one like this -- a career record for Kenny -- that’s something unbelievable. And that’s something I'll continue to push for future generations."
