There's no rest for anyone with three rounds to go as the FPO attacks Sunset Hills and the MPO spends the week at Lake Eureka Temp.
Sixteen players are within three strokes of the three-way tie at the top — Chris Dickerson, Aaron Gossage and Emerson Keith — in MPO and six players are within four strokes of two-time defending Ledgestone champion Missy Gannon, who grabbed a two-stroke lead after her win at the European Disc Golf Festival this past weekend in Estonia.
There's little room for error and plenty of scoring opportunities at Lake Eureka. Gossage (-8), Garrett Gurthrie (T2, -8) and Mason Ford (T2, -8) were the only three to turn in a clean scorecard in the top 10 after Thursday's round.
Gossage was stellar of the tee with a 100% mark in fairway hits and hit 92% Circle 2 in regulation, both tops in the field. Dickerson went 6-for-6 from C1X on the putting green.
Gannon did a little bit of everything at Sunset Hills with a 83% tally in C2 in regulation and went 10-for-10 in C1X.
Lisa Fajkus set the early pace with a clean 7-under round and is joined by Ohn Scoggins and Holyn Handley in a three-way tie for second place, two stokes off the pace from the defending champion.
There's no time for any more rest — it's a sprint in the Peoria area.
