2019 PDGA Majors, NTs, & DGPT Schedule Released
2019 A-Tier Request Form Now Available
The schedule for the 2019 PDGA Majors (10 domestic, 1 international), 2019 PDGA National Tour events (6), and 2019 Disc Golf Pro Tour events (11) is now complete and is published below along with several other notable events for reference.
A-Tier Requests Due October 16th
We are now taking requests for 2019 A-Tiers via the A-Tier Request Form online. The last day to submit an A-Tier request is Tuesday, October 16th, 2018. It is important to note that the Pro Added Cash requirement for A-Tiers has been increased to $3,000 for the 2019 Season. Our goal is to have the A-Tier schedule set and released by November 1st, 2018.
Please note that you MUST complete all parts of the request form and provide at least 3 possible dates within your request in order to allow us a chance to create a schedule that works for everyone without conflicts. We no longer have the luxury of a single date choice or a “historical” date. Due to the growth of the tour (4000+? events in 2018), we all need to be flexible for the benefit of other TDs and the players.
Note: If you don’t work with us by providing at least three possible dates, you will very likely NOT be scheduled as an A-Tier and will have to run as a B-Tier in 2019.
Please also note that considering the number of events on the schedule, we will need to continue to limit the number of A-Tiers to a sensible number to prevent them from clogging the schedule. We will likely be looking for no more than 100 A-Tiers in the US beyond the DGPT events, meaning that not all events requesting A-Tier status will receive it, even if previously approved as an A-Tier. Only select, high-profile, successful, multi-year B-Tiers will even be considered for upgrading to A-Tier status.
