The votes have been counted for the 2024 PDGA Elections, which took place through the month of July with 112,665 ballots sent to eligible PDGA members. Of those, 11,995 ballots were returned, which is a participation mark of 10.65%. Participation was at 14.9% in 2023.
During the first week of the elections, beginning July 1, all current PDGA members as of June 25 for whom the PDGA has a valid email address will receive online election instructions and their individual ballot. The PDGA will send the ballot weekly to those who have not yet voted. Voting ends July 31.

The annual PDGA Elections take place from July 1 through July 31 every year where members vote for the PDGA Global Board of Directors, the PDGA Europe Board of Directors and the PDGA State & Provincial Coordinators.
Each year, roughly half the State and Provincial Coordinator positions are up for election. Below are the candidates for the positions up for election in 2024 and their statements. Terms for these positions will run for two (2) years, from September 1, 2024 through August 31, 2026.
Two candidates will be vying for two open positions on the PDGA Europe Board of Directors. These two self-nominated candidates share a passion for disc golf. They have diverse backgrounds and a wide range of skillsets, both in their professional lives and within the sport.
PDGA Europe is a nonprofit organization registered in Finland. PDGA Europe's bylaws establish a Board of Directors to engage in oversight and strategic planning. In addition to holding an annual summit meeting, the PDGA Europe Board and staff conduct monthly teleconference calls and ongoing communication to accomplish required business and organizational goals. The Board’s main activities include: setting PDGA Europe policies and priorities; hiring and supervision of staff; financial management including approving the annual budget; identification of suitable future Board candidates; representing the membership’s interests; and continuing the rapid growth of disc golf in Europe.
Two at-large Board member positions will be elected this year. The election will take place throughout the entire month of July.

PDGA Europe, headquartered in Helsinki, Finland, serves the 29 PDGA Affiliate Countries on the European continent. PDGA Europe operates under the direction of the PDGA Europe Board of Directors with the overarching aim of growing disc golf throughout Europe in collaboration with PDGA Global, PDGA Europe members, and National Governing Bodies/Associations.
PDGA Europe seeks proactive and dynamic candidates with the best and brightest minds to serve on the PDGA Europe Board of Directors. For 2024, there are two vacancies available, with each successful candidate expected to serve a term of three years, commencing 01-Sep-2024.
The PDGA seeks highly motivated active members interested in guiding the policies and strategic priorities for the global governing body of disc golf. Competitive candidates will show background and expertise in the desired knowledge, skills, and abilities (“KSAs”) listed below, and a passion for growing disc golf into a globally recognized recreational and competitive sport.
