Prizes

Description

The PDGA awards prizes to the top three finishers in each division at the WGE, and also to one or more players or TDs through random draw or other contest.  In the past, these prizes have been high-value, sought-after disc golf accessories like disc golf carts and disc golf bags. To get competitive pricing and provide an equal opportunity for all vendors in the flying disc industry to introduce their products to PDGA members and disc golfers, the PDGA is seeking bids for prizes for the 2024 WGE.

The PDGA may choose one or multiple vendors for the production of these items at the sole discretion of the PDGA.

Requirements

Prizes must be high-value, sought-after disc golf accessories. The quantity needed may vary depending on participation in the offered divisions, but bidders must be prepared to furnish up to  thirty (30) prizes.

This is a closed bid process. All bids should be submitted via email to WGE staff at [email protected]. The bid must include a description of the prize and verification that the prize will be available in the correct quantity. The RFP deadline is September 15, 2023.

The vendor will receive the list of winners and their shipping addresses no later than June 15, 2024. The vendor will be responsible for shipping products to the winners.

In addition to supporting the PDGA and its mission of promoting the sustainable growth of disc golf, the PDGA hopes that you will recognize the co-marketing and promotional value of having a product made by your company distributed around the world through the Women’s Global Event, and that you will bid accordingly. For additional information, please contact the WGE staff at [email protected].
