PDGA Player of the Year and Rookie Update - Nov 2014

Friday, December 12, 2014 - 15:07

The PDGA Player of the Year (POY) and Rookie of the Year (ROY) points have been updated and now capped for events reported through November 2014. The capping adjustment occurs late in the year for a handful of players who have earned points in more than 10 A-tiers. Per the rules for points calculation, a player only earns points credit for their 10 best A-tier finishes.

With a few months remaining to collect the final TD reports for 2014, our leaders for Player of the Year are Paul McBeth with a slight edge over Ricky Wysocki. And Catrina Allen has a solid lead over Paige Pierce. Austin Pfaff has almost locked up the men's Rookie award while Rebekah Kersey continues her lead over Sara Senkbeil for the women.
