PDGA Women's Committee Seeks New Members

The PDGA women's committee is seeking applicants for volunteers to serve on the PDGA women's committee.

The PDGA women's committee is a committee of the PDGA Global Board of Directors that has a mandate to:

• Advocate for women’s leadership at all levels in PDGA.
• Increase and support the active participation of women in the sport of disc golf.
• Promote women’s economic and social justice issues, and equality.
• The Committee will advocate for measurable, sustainable, and positive change in the status of women within PDGA.
• The Committee will liaise with other PDGA committees to ensure that the mandate of the Women’s Committee is reflected in all areas of PDGA.
• The Women’s Committee will liaise with other organizations and groups to learn, exchange information, and increase the participation of women in the sport and the PDGA.

The Committee term is one (2) year term, ending at the conclusion of the calendar year. Half of the committee members alternate years such that there is continuity on the committee. Committee members may serve multiple terms.

Interested candidates should complete the application by February 27, 2023 for consideration.
