Description

The Altmaier family's lovely former farmstead turned into a beautiful city park. This course has a links-style feel with lots of elevation and some wooded holes. Clear Creek comes into play on 4 holes. Many newly planted trees on the two farm fields. Portable restroom on site (no running water on site, though a major retail area is nearby. Hours (due to blasting schedule of neighboring quarry); Mon-Fri: 11:00 am to Dusk. Sat and Sun: Dawn to Dusk. The park is open anytime the gates are open. At times, the park may be closed (for blasting operations or for wet conditions, repairs or maintenance).

Directions

I-80; exit 240. Go south on Hwy 965 to right turn on Hwy 6. Quarter mile after the traffic light at Lowes, turn left on Deer Creek Rd SE. Go another almost half mile to the Altmaier Family Park on the left.
