Description

The first four fairways in the woods showcase some of the rolling terrain along with a log bridge. The bridge lumber and other elements needed for the project where re-purposed from the local area (signs come from the old grandstand at the fairgrounds). Extra effort went into the installation of the tees to minimize environmental impact). Fairway #5 in the prairie allows for closer interaction with the many flowering plants and native grasses. Fairways #6 and #7 are again in the woods offering a peek across a hidden vibrant wetland. #8 and #9 lead past a lesser-known start of an Ice Age Trail segment, returning to the prairie to reveal beautiful stands of trees.
