Would be a great course if the tall grass was not super thick and was more open. Make sure to wear pants if you play here because you will be walking in tall grass. Could use better course markings as well. Great to play if you are bringing a dog or want an accuracy challenge. I prefer to play in the Fall/Spring and not in the summer

To start off there are many walking paths mixed in with the course. With that said, no signage to the next tees, so sometimes you have to chose a fork in the road and hope you picked the right way or your will be turning around. Each tee is marked with a Post and a white rock. As stated in other reviews, great possibility of losing a disc. Some of the fairways are narrow, so make sure you have a spotter. This course is a challenge because you have to have the discipline to throw straight. If you lose your disc in the tall grass, prepare for you legs to get cut up and scratched. Unless they fix with signage or course map, probably will not return.

A few things for first timers. 1. You. Are. Going. To. Lose. A. Disc. 2. When you go looking for said disc you are going to need bug spray, and don't spend too long in the brush (I got chigger bites ALL over my forearms and it was pure HELL dealing with), I'd also suggest long sleeves and jeans, regardless the heat. The only way to not lose a disc is to A. Throw a straight 250 plus feet every single time B. Forget about distance and chip shot your way there or C. Bring a buddy that you can use as a spotter and vise versa. Again, I can't stress the bug spray.
This course does provide a great deal of challenge however. Plenty of obstacles and a great course to help focus on control. They could really use better signage to guide you from hole to hole though, and a few tee markers are gone now too. The course map that used to be on a huge sign in the parking lot is also gone, so make sure to use the one on here. You're going to need it. I would also stress walking down and checking where the hole is. There were several times I thought I could tell where it'd be from the tee and ended up being completely wrong.
West Main is a fun course though that will help you work on control. Just don't forget that bug spray, in case I forgot to mention that.

We have played this course three times, it is very close to home. It is still brand new. The holes have been cleared, tees set but not signed, and baskets placed. Getting through the course can be a challenge without signage, and some of the baskets are so well hidden you have to walk the holes to find them before teeing off. If it is raining or wet bring mud shoes, the low areas (from the old nursery grade) are difficult to get around.

On a positive note. The course is good, very challenging, and in a great location. Once there are signs, path mulch, and (suggestion) score cards with hole maps, it will be worth a trip to play.

Also- Bring some straight flying discs. As mentioned in the course description some of the holes go through an old orchard, where there are rows of trees about 10-12' for about 225'. I think it is 7...
