10-under-par was the score to beat on moving day
Handley’s Hot Hand
Holyn Handley makes a huge push from the chase card, shooting a 10-under in the second round. “I had so much fun today,” Handley said, reflecting on her moving day effort. She continued, “I threw some of the best shots I feel like I’ve ever thrown.”
Handley will be joined by co-leader Ohn Scoggins, Natalie Ryan, and Missy Gannon for the final round of the DGPT - 2024 Beaver State Fling Presented by Innova.
Cool Hand Luke
Jumping from fourth card to a share of the lead going into championship Sunday, 2018 PDGA Amateur World Champion, Luke Humphries, carded a bogey-free 10-under on moving day.
When asked what it will take to bring home the victory on the final day of competition, Humphries said, “I’ll try not to get too focused on what I need, but rather try to go out there, get the birdies I can, and take advantage of the great vibes that you get out here at Milo.”
Humphries will be joined by Gannon Buhr, Ezra Robinson, and co-leader Calvin Heimburg.
