FPO

With a blistering 10-under-par second round a new player surged to the top of the FPO leaderboard at the DGPT Elite+ 2024 Portland Open presented by Latitude 64. Sofia Donnecke (-13) of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, is playing in just her 25th PDGA sanctioned event of her career, which includes 8 victories at various levels. Two weeks ago, Donnecke made her DGPT debut at the OTB Open, placing 14th. She now co-leads a DGPT Elite+ event at the halfway mark with Ohn Scoggins (-13), who followed up an opening-round minus-7 with a 6-under-par second round.

Paige Pierce (-10) bettered her opening-round 3-under effort by four strokes to retain a tie for third place heading into the weekend. Kat Mertsch (-10), who led briefly at one point in round two, completes the lead card with Pierce.

MPO

The top 3 remain unchanged in the MPO field, with Gannon Buhr, Drew Gibson and Joona Heinänen leading the way. However, the space between is notably different. A hot round of the day – his second 10-under-par effort – has Buhr ahead of the field by six.

Gibson (-14) Heinänen (-13) retain their lead-card positions, with Isaac Robinson (-12) turning an 8-under Friday into a berth in Saturday’s final group.
