Pierce, Buhr Flex on Saturday
Portland Open – Round 3
FPO
Paige Pierce played a round on the Glendoveer West layout, then improved on it by four strokes just 24 hours later. For Saturday’s round three at the DGPT Elite+ 2024 Portland Open presented by Latitude 64, the field shifted over to Glendoveer East. Would Pierce’s momentum carry over as well?
Yes… and then some.

Pierce shot the best FPO round of the day, a 9-under-par effort, to vault into the solo lead at 19-under for the tournament. She sits two clear of the duo of Kat Mertsch and Ohn Scoggins (-17), who remain lurking. The fourth member of the lead card remains as well, as Sofia Donnecke (-16) continues to impress.
The chase card includes Holyn Handley (-13), Missy Gannon (-13), Anniken Kristiansen Steen (-12), and Rebecca Cox (-10), all vying for valuable DGPT Tour points and a top finish.

Gannon Buhr.
That’s it. That’s the story.
A 9-under-par moving day – just one away from a third consecutive hot round in the division – launched Buhr (-29)into a 10-stroke lead over the trio of Cole Redalen, Richard Wysocki and Calvin Heimburg, all at 19-under.
Buhr never had a throw-in longer than 26-feet during the round and only missed one circle-1 putt on the day… on a hole he still birdied (the 18th).
Deeper in the field, Niklas Antilla (T7, -17) and Paul McBeth (T12, -15) each moved up 24 places in the field thanks to hot rounds… but all distantly trail Buhr heading into Sunday’s final round.
