Opened in October 2010. This is a nice 9 hole course placed in a city park. Cement tees, Innova DisCatcher Pro Baskets, and the short tees (grass) are marked by red markers generally directly in front of the long boxes. Lots of elevation is in effect and lots of large trees are in play on nearly every hole. There is a top level to the course and a bottom level separated by a steep hill. There is no water in play. There is a playground area in the middle and streets on two sides of the course. These shouldn't be a problem unless players have some very errand throws. There are park bathrooms that only close in the winter. There are no signs marking hole #'s or distances. Cement tees are not marked yet either. I've been informed that signs will be put in shortly. Hole 1, 7, and 9 are par 4's and the rest are par 3's. It's a very nice 9 hole course that already has mature natural growth. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area. The only cons I have are the lack of signs (which will be put in soon), no trash cans by the tee pads or baskets, only one area to sit and rest before hole 6, no water in play, and the short tee markers should have been set off to the side at a different angle to give the course 18 different looking tee boxes. Discs can be bought less than a mile away at the Lacon Fitness and Tan and Julie's Corner Store. A challenging 9 hole course with a good variation of distances and shot varieties. For a 9 hole course, I give it a 4 out of 5.
