Description

Varied and challenging course in a large suburban park. Most holes have well defined grass fairways with dense woods to either side and several holes have significant elevation change. Relatively short and beginner friendly. 9 alternate tee markers have been installed (green wooden markers in the ground) so there are now 18 unique tee positions used on league days (see Melbourne Disc Golf Club website). Can get crowded on weekends, but the course plays through the less busy areas. *Oct 2017: the 3 newer holes still do not have finished tees - they are marked the same as the alternates.

Directions

Enter Ruffey Lake Park on Church Rd, off King St. rather than the other park entrances. Drive past the gate and into the circular car park. 1st tee and basket are on the island inside the circular car park. For public transport directions use http://jp.ptv.vic.gov.au/
