The course starts across the road from the parking lot. After crossing the road, there is a sign that says "Blue 1" or something like that. From then on, the tee info signs direct you to the next hole. I didn't have any problems navigating the course once I got started. This is a challenging course, or at least it was for me. It looks like they are in the middle of working on the course, but it doesn't interfere with the play. The course was well maintained with new tee pads for many holes. I played the course at about 8:30 am on a Saturday and didn't see anyone else on the course until I got to the last couple of holes and saw others just beginning the course. There are no wide open holes on this course, and a few holes are almost throwing through a forest. Since I live only 20 minutes away, I will return to this course again. There are two other courses at this same state park, the Red course and the Purple course. I slightly prefer it over the Red course, but I haven't tried the Purple course which was just built.
